HELP US SUPPORT STROKE SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES
The Victoria Stroke Recovery Association continues to provide vital programs and services for people affected by stroke — from communication support to social connection and recovery.
Our community is growing! Membership has increased from 38 people in 2023 to 65 in 2025, and we’ve expanded our post-stroke aphasia program with new staff and technical support. Read our 2024 Annual Report.
As the year draws to a close, we invite you to make a meaningful difference. Many people choose to give annual charitable donations at this time. We hope you’ll consider supporting VSRA so we can continue to grow and serve even more people in the months ahead.
WAYS TO GIVE
1. Donate to the VSRA Endowment Fund held at the Victoria Foundation.
The VSRA Endowment Fund is an interest-bearing account that helps our organization save and manage funds in order to build and maintain programs now and in the future.
2. Donate to the VSRA Operational Account.
Donations will be put to immediate use for the VSRA’s everyday operations.
TAX RECEIPTS
The Victoria Stroke Recovery Association is a CRA-registered charity, allowing us to provide tax receipts to donors. Tax receipts for 2025 will be issued in January 2026.
Both donation funds are handled through CanadaHelps. This registered Canadian charity makes it easy to donate to any Canadian charity in a few minutes and get the convenience of tax receipts, credit card payments, and e-cards.
