APHASIA PARTNER PROGRAMSave

THE PARTNER PROGRAM: LEARN HOW TO MAKE COMMUNICATION EASIER AFTER A STROKE

Aphasia isn’t just a language problem that belongs solely to the person who had a stroke. It’s a communication problem between people who have aphasia and those who don’t. The Partner Program aims to help family, friends, colleagues and care partners become skilled communication partners for the person with aphasia.

Marie Shuman, our Registered Speech-Language Pathologist, leads the program with a team of trained student volunteers.

The program runs in the fall and the spring. To find out more, please contact us.
